Creed
Founded in London in 1760 and long settled in Paris, Creed is one of the last perfume houses still run as a family trade, its formulas passed from father to son for over two and a half centuries. The house built its name on dense, naturalistic compositions — hay, birch, ambergris accords, bitter citrus — made for kings, actors and aviators before it ever courted the public. Aventus, its smoky pineapple chypre of 2010, became the most influential masculine fragrance of its era almost by accident.
